In 2001 Steve Davies became a freelance military aviation photojournalist following a career in UK IT recruitment. This complete change of career was spawned by a life-long interest in photography and military aviation, and by the burst of the dot com bubble.

Steve lives in Cambridgeshire, England, and works full time for some of the world's leading aerospace and defence publishing houses.

He also works for television documentary makers as a consultant, interviewer, script writer and editor.

He is currently studying for his BA (Hons) Degree in English Language at a Cambridge University.
